The Peniche peninsula is a genuine Portuguese village, surrounded by some of the world's best waves. Once a year when the World Surf Leauge makes it annual visit the locals turn the beach into a party, with some 5000 spectators enjoying the show.
Before, during and after the competition, the local kids enjoy the same waves as the professionals. Surfing is a sport for everyone.
